The Endangered Languages Research Cluster (ELRC) at the English Discipline of Khulna University, Bangladesh, aims to promote research, documentation, and preservation of endangered and minority languages of Bangladesh and beyond. The ELRC Board serves as the principal academic and consultative body of the Cluster, providing guidance, coordination, and collective oversight of its research activities and initiatives.
The Endangered Languages Research Cluster (ELRC) Steering Committee (SC) provides strategic direction, governance, and oversight for the cluster’s research, academic, and community engagement activities. The committee ensures that ELRC’s objectives align with Khulna University’s broader mission and commitment to advancing linguistic diversity, educational excellence, and social responsibility.
The Endangered Languages Research Cluster (ELRC) at the Discipline of English, Khulna University, is a transdisciplinary research initiative committed to the documentation, preservation, and revitalization of endangered and minority languages of Bangladesh and beyond. To strengthen its transdisciplinary scope and enrich its research capacity, ELRC includes cluster members from different disciplines of Khulna University. These members contribute their disciplinary perspectives, methods, and expertise to support the Cluster’s research and outreach activities.
The Endangered Languages Research Cluster (ELRC), under the Discipline of English, Khulna University, is dedicated to research, documentation, and preservation of endangered and minority languages of Bangladesh and beyond. To strengthen its academic reach, promote research exchange, and enhance multidisciplinary cooperation, ELRC includes Cluster Associate Members (Domestic)— teachers, researchers, experts, graduate students, and language community members from other universities, research institutes, and language communities across Bangladesh — who contribute to the Cluster’s research and outreach goals.

To strengthen its international collaboration, knowledge exchange, and research visibility, the ELRC welcomes Cluster Associate Members (Overseas) from universities and research institutes outside Bangladesh. These members bring global expertise, comparative perspectives, and academic partnerships to advance the Cluster’s objectives.
